2020.7.8. / Kyoto University releases free patent rights to research on novel coronavirus

On June 29, 2020, Kyoto University announced a policy of releasing its patents and other assets free of charge for research and development with the sole purpose of preventing the spread of the novel coronavirus.

This deadline is the date when the World Health Organization (WHO) declares the end of the pandemic. However, the longest period is until December 31, 2022.
