2020.11.4. ／ The Japan Patent Attorneys Association has launched a patent application support system as a measure against COVID-19.

The Japan Patent Attorneys Association (JPAA) has launched a system to support companies whose revenues and sales have decreased due to the spread of COVID-19 infection by partially subsidizing the costs of patent, utility model and design applications.

In order to take advantage of this program, companies need to submit a document proving that they have received support from the national, local or public authorities due to a decrease in sales and income due to COVID-19.
