On September 8, 2021, Fujitsu Limited launched the FUJITSU Digital Laboratory Platform SCIDOCSS, a service that allows users to search for patents in the fields of chemistry, metals, and electricity.

It can search for texts of several dozen lines or chemical structural formulas, and AI will perform name sorting and other processing to display search results in order of relevance.
Demand is expected to grow, especially from chemical manufacturers, as it will reduce the time required to search for documents from five days to one day.
