2023.10.24. ／ JPO Strengthens Structure of AI Examination Support Team

On September 21, 2023, the JPO announced that, in order to strengthen the structure of the AI Examination Support Team, it will increase the number of AI officers from about 10 to about 40 and assign one AI officer to every examination office, effective October 1, 2023.

Accordingly, the IoT Examination Team will be dissolved as of September 30, 2023, and a part of the examination work for IoT-related inventions handled by this team will be taken over by the AI Examination Support Team.
