2024.6.26. ／ JPO begins operating international publication in new format

Overview of Patent System in Japan

On June 5, 2024, the JPO announced that international applications with Japan as the receiving office will be published in a new format that reflects the revision history, effective from the publication of applications on June 20, 2024.

This new format is intended to visualize where amendments have been made, and has already been in effect at the WIPO International Bureau since October 2023.
