2019.9.2. / 9th ASEAN Patent Office Director-General Meeting

The JPO held the 9th Japan-ASEAN Patent Office Directors' Meeting and the ASEAN Patent Office Symposium 2019 in Tokyo on August 6-7, 2019.

 

After the meeting, Adopted Japan-ASEAN IP Joint Statement, and in the same way as in the past, in addition to cooperation between ASEAN and Japan, strengthening the cooperation system for developing patent examination standards in advanced technology fields, and solving problems arising from translation of patent applications It announced that it would build a cooperation system.
