2021.5.17. ／ JPO Publishes Survey on Patent Application Technology Trends

On April 30, 2021, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) published a report that examines and analyzes patent information, etc. on seven technological themes, including "machine translation," "smart agriculture," "Mobility as a service (MaaS)," and "plastic resource recycling," which are cutting-edge fields that are expected to create and expand markets in the future.

Of these, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) provides explanations on its website about "Machine Translation," "Smart Agriculture," "MaaS: Analysis from Automatic Driving Related Technologies," and "Plastic Resource Recycling.
