From February 10 to March 11, 2022, the Patent System Subcommittee of the Intellectual Property Subcommittee of the Industrial Structure Council solicited public comments to prepare a draft revision of the "Examination Guidelines for Multiple Claim Limitations"

Based on the results of this study, the examination criteria regarding the multi-complaint limitation will be revised.
The revised examination criteria will apply to the examination of applications on or after April 1, 2022.
