2022.4.20. ／ Japan Patent Office Publishes Four-frame Cartoon Guidebook on How to Use the Design System

On March 28, 2022, the JPO published a guidebook, "How to Use Everyone's Design Rights in Ten Different Ways.”
This is due to the 2019 revision of the Design Law, which expands the scope of protection under the Design Law and broadens the base of potential users.

The guidebook can be downloaded from the JPO website.
Distribution of the booklets is scheduled to begin in April and thereafter at the Intellectual Property Comprehensive Support Desk and the Intellectual Property Office of the Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry.
