2022.7.15. / JPO promulgates ministerial ordinance partially revising Patent Law Enforcement Regulations, etc.

On June 30, 2022, the JPO promulgated a Ministerial Ordinance Partially Revising Enforcement Regulations of the Patent Law (Ordinance of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry No. 58 of June 30, 2022).
This Ministry Order is in accordance with the revision of the Regulations under the Patent Cooperation Treaty ("PCT Regulations"), which will enter into force on July 1, 2022.

The details of the amendments are as follows

(1) Revision of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Patent Act, etc. (relating to procedures for submission of sequence listings, etc.)
(2) Revision of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the International Application Law (relating to overdue remedies in case of emergency)
