2023.2.13. ／ JPO publishes the themes of the Patent Application Technology Trend Survey scheduled to be conducted in FY2023.

On December 28, 2022, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) announced that it will conduct a patent application technology trend survey by selecting technological themes that are expected to develop in the future, focusing on fields that are expected to create new markets and that should be promoted as national policy.

It will also serve as a reference when considering future management and R&D strategies.
The following themes are scheduled to be investigated in FY2023.

Passive ZEH/ZEB
Drones
All-individual batteries
Healthcare Informatics
Quantum computing related technologies
