2023.3.16. ／ JPO Begins New Practice for Examination of Divisional Applications

On December 28, 2022, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) announced that it will conduct a patent application technology trend survey by selecting technological themes that are expected to develop in the future, focusing on fields that are expected to create new markets and that should be promoted as national policy.　

This will allow applicants to develop more efficient and effective filing strategies.
