2023.3.16. ／ JPO Publishes Design Registration Application Trends

On February 7, 2023, the JPO announced trends in the number of design registration applications for images, buildings, and interiors, which are newly protectable under the revised Design Law that will take effect on April 1, 2020.　

As of February 1, 2023, there were 5,509 design registration applications for new protected subjects.
