2023.3.16. / Osaka Customs releases the number of import injunctions in FY2022

On March 3, 2023, Osaka Customs released information on the status of the seizure of counterfeit brand goods and other intellectual property infringing goods at Osaka Customs in fiscal year 2022.
The number of import suspensions increased for the third consecutive year to 9,391 (106% over the previous year), while the number of suspended items increased for the second consecutive year to 313,757 (111.1% over the previous year).

By region, the largest number of IP infringing goods came from China, with 8,182 cases (87.1%).
