2023.3.16. ／ JPO ends prepayment by patent revenue stamps

On March 10, 2023, the JPO issued another notice regarding the termination of prepayment deposits by patent revenue stamps.
Pre-payment by patent revenue stamps will end as of March 31, 2023.

After April 1, 2023, "electronic cash" will be used for prepayment through the Internet filing software.
As a result, all procedures from payment to submission of prepayment forms will be completed online.
As for the payment in writing, the payment procedure will be conducted with the "Cash Payment Form".
