On April 3, 2023, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) released a research report on the intellectual property system and economy for the fiscal year 2022.
The report analyzes the following four items.

(1) Analysis of the option value of patents for R&D activities
(2) Analysis of corporate IP disclosure
(3) Analysis of inter-organizational movement of inventors
(4) Surveys of domestic and foreign econometric studies that contribute to the JPO's policies
