On July 3, 2023, the "Act for Partial Revision of the Unfair Competition Prevention Act, etc." enacted at the 211th ordinary session of the Diet came into effect.

Thereby,
(1) Strengthening protection of brands, designs, etc., in light of the diversification of business activities associated with digitalization
(2) Improvement of intellectual property procedures, etc. in response to the Corona Disaster and digitalization
(3) Revision of the Unfair Competition Prevention Law, etc., with a focus on the development of systems related to international business development.
