2019.12.2. / Signed an agreement to start trial of the Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH)

At the 3rd Japan-India Intellectual Property Evaluation Meeting, the Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India signed the agreement document regarding the start of the Japan-India Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) trial.

Applications are scheduled to begin on December 5, 2019. Currently, the JPO is preparing for the PPH guidelines.
