On April 14, 2023, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry sent out information about a new product, a bonito shaver, jointly developed by "Ibusuki Katsuobushi" of Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, and "Miki Hardware" of Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture, with the cooperation of a regional collective trademark.

Miki Kanamono" and "Ibusuki dried bonito flakes" were granted regional collective trademarks in 2008 and 2020, respectively.
