On April 18, 2023, the Japan Patent Office announced that it will subsidize half of the costs related to foreign applications for startups to establish new businesses in foreign countries.
From this year, not only application procedures but also interim responses, etc. will be covered by the subsidy.

　1st round: Tuesday, April 25 - Wednesday, June 7, 2023, 12:00 p.m.
　2nd round: Monday, July 10 - Thursday, August 17, 2023, 12:00 p.m.

Interim response, etc.
　Late May - October 2023 (subject to change)
