2022.9.27. / Japanese Companies to Participate in Low Carbon Technology Initiatives for the First Time 

Panasonic Corporation is the first Japanese company to announce its participation in the Low Carbon Patent Pledge, a global initiative for low carbon technology.
LCPP was launched on April 22, 2021 by Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Microsoft, and Meta; formerly Facebook.

With the goal of promoting low-carbon technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, patents listed on the LCPP website are released free of charge, and more than 400 patents have been pledged to date.
